I have been contacted by a lady who is searching for relatives of Tom Rees who attended Gladstone Road Boys School in 1910 and Barry Socialist School in 1909.

Think of your School Days..... did you love them? hate them? couldn't care less either way?
What about the other things you did while you were school age? Scouts, Brownies, Youth Clubs, Football Teams, Swimming Club?
And your school and childhood friends... do you remember names and forget faces? or vice versa? or are your memories crystal clear and totally accurate?
The chances are that you have at least a few good memories of your childhood but some of them may be beginning to fade or there could well be things you've forgotten and you haven't realised it yet!

If you have a photograph that you think would make a good addition to the collection then there are two ways of contributing....
1. Bring the photograph to:- Gifted at 4 High Street Barry so that I can make a copy and arrange for you to collect it a later date - note that photographs are not damaged by copying and will be returned.
2. If you already have them in digital format you can email them directly to me at the email address below.
If you are unable to supply the photograph by either of these two methods then please contact me and we can discuss alternatives.

Do you recognise somebody?
Many of our photos do not have complete lists of names - for some of the photographs we have no names at all. If you recognise somebody and can supply a name to go with a previously unknown face then we'd be really pleased to hear from you.

If you have any stories that you'd like to share please get in touch. This website is all about memories and your contribution whether funny or sad, informative or otherwise can only add to the experience of others as they read what you have to say.
We're also very interested in hearing from you if you can tell us a bit about the history of the schools and clubs that we feature.

This site is new but growing very quickly as people look at the photographs and provide some of their own. If you take a look now and aren't fortunate enough to find anything of interest to you then check it out again in a month or so.
Soon we will add an option for you to register for a monthly email letting you know what has been added.
Also, there will be a contact facility so that your name can be listed if you wish others to be able to contact you. Don't worry about your privacy, we will not put your details on show, people will only be able to contact you if they register themselves and any messages they leave will be forwarded to you by us.
